As the Springboks head into their second Rugby Championship Test, it has been confirmed who will be singing the SA anthem before kick off.
The Springboks are expected to have a strong supporter base for this Saturday’s Test against the Wallabies in Perth, a city where thousands of expats reside.
“We made it clear from the outset this season that one of our main goals is to build squad depth with an eye on the next Rugby World Cup here in Australia, and we feel there is no better way to test some of the younger players and assess where we are as a group against a top-Tier nation, especially away from home, in this match,” said Erasmus.
Morne van den Berg, Ruan Nortje, Jan-Hendrik Wessels and Johan Grobbelaar will earn only their second Test caps in the match. Manchester City face a strong challenge from Arsenal as the champions look to win an unprecedented fifth successive Premier League title.
