Sekgota joined Chiefs at the beginning of last season from Swallows and has now seemingly emerged as a candidate to be the next superstar this season. The evidence of that progress needs no microscope having moved from playing a single 90 minutes from 19 appearances last term to now making eight appearances in the last 11 games played so far."Obviously they created a program for me, and I have been working hard on it," says Sekgota."Then the support that we have as a team in encouraging each other daily, things have been looking better.
"He encouraged me to keep on doing what I like and advised me to do what I need to do at the right moment at the right time."I still need a goal and be able to assist in every game."Growth is the most important thing to overcome any challenge," says Sekgota who is still yet to score in Chiefs colours though the growth in his confidence is evident as he lives his dream at Naturena."I’m confident in my team. Being at Kaizer Chiefs is every child’s dream.
"For me to be playing at this moment I have to thank the coach for the opportunity and all my experienced teammates who have been pushing us as youngsters to improve on our skills," he notes.
