Vancouver rock group Mother Mother will perform a special pair of hometown shows at Malkin Bowl this fall.“We can’t wait to close out the summer in beautiful Stanley Park here in our hometown,” said Mother Mother frontman Ryan Guldemond in a news release annoucing the shows.
“We have two nights to celebrate, so that means two set lists to honour our seven-album discography with. Joining us are Tokyo Police Club, The Zolas and Sam Lynch, a diverse array of talent that we’re excited and humbled to share the stage with.” The group – which includes Molly Guldemond, Jasmin Parkin, Ali Siadat and Mike Young – have notched seven top 10 singles on Canadian alt-rock charts, with more than 100 million streams on digital platforms.
Their most recent album Dance and Cry produced the #1 single Get Up, which remained at the top of Canadian alternative charts for seven weeks, as well as a string of sold-out shows across North America. Tickets for the September 2019 all-ages shows go on sale April 26 at 10 a.m. through Livenation. Tickets are $49.50 plus service charge and four-ticket packs are available for $180.
