Comrades cut-off time issues that rocked 2023 race 'resolved' as new-look up-run returns
New Comrades Marathon race director Ann Ashworth insists the cut-off time issues that impacted the 2023 edition have been"resolved" ahead of this Sunday's up-run from Durban to Pietermaritzburg.
Thanks mainly to the Covid-19 pandemic, this will be the first up-run since 2019. This will also be Ashworth's first race in charge since replacing Rowyn James as race director in November last year. Addressing the media in Durban, Ashworth was assured and confident and did not shy away from taking on the cut-off time issue.
