Comparing Proteas to Springboks in World Cups is unfair, says choke doctor Dawson-Squibb

Proteas performance coach Tom Dawson-Squibb said the comparison between the Springboks' ability to thrive under pressure and their cricket counterparts' wilting tendencies in the same circumstance is an unfair one because of the different natures of the sports. The Springboks' ability to find ways to win in difficult situations, as they did in the 2023 World Cup where they won their three playoff games by a point, has often been thrown in the faces of the Proteas.
