The 2022 U-T Community Journalism Scholars Program provides a paid opportunity for college-bound, San Diego County high school students to learn and practice journalism as paid interns for a major media company. Applications due on or before May 12. Apply:
For its 11th annual U-T , the San Diego Union-Tribune will hire six college-bound high school students of different cultural and economic backgrounds from throughout the county to learn about and
produce community journalism this summer. Successful candidates will be paid San Diego minimum wage. The primarily remote/virtual program will take place Thursday, June 16, through Wednesday, July 13.
