.GOPoversight's RepJamesComer asked former White House counsel Dana Remus to testify in the investigation into POTUS allegedly improperly handling classified documents. The committee said Remus may have 'potentially unique knowledge about this matter.'
The letter follows the committee’s monthslong investigation into documents found at Biden's home in Wilmington, Delaware, and at the Penn Biden Center.Comer, elected chairman last year on the promise of holding the Biden administration accountable, has been targeting materials found at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C., and his home in Delaware since they were discovered. The documents in question are from Biden’s time as vice president.
Last month, the Republican-led committee interviewed Chung, Biden's former executive assistant, who testified she was unaware she was handling any classified documents as she packed the president’s think tank office.
