The closings come as the possibility of severe thunderstorms and possible tornadoes are expected to move into central Ohio over the next several hours. The National Weather Service says there may not be a"clear line of storms" moving through the area, but more disorganized clusters all across the region could pop up from noon to 8 p.m., bringing the possibility of strong storms.A cold front will start passing through around 6 p.m. with severe storm threats of tornadoes, along with hail, high winds and flash flooding, lasting until about 10 p.m.
After the cold front moves through, there will be a significant drop in temperatures with lingering showers overnight, with more numerous showers and even some snow mixing in late Wednesday. The Columbus Crew and Columbus Clippers each have games tonight.
