Good Wednesday morning! We are wrapping up our summer-like weather over the next 36 hours and then much cooler temperatures will settle in for the long-haul. Today we have clear skies this morning, but clouds are moving in quickly from the west and we will be partly cloudy this afternoon and eventually mostly cloudy tonight and tomorrow. We will stay dry today with morning temps around 60 and warming to a high of 86. Mild tonight with low temps in the low-mid 60s.
Generally cloudy tomorrow and warming to a high around 80 tomorrow with rain arriving later in the day. Right now it looks like the arrival of rain will be around the afternoon/evening commute tomorrow from the west. Scattered showers and a few rumbles of thunder for Thursday evening, overnight and early Friday. By Friday morning at daybreak the bulk of the rain will be moving to the east and we will see mostly cloudy skies on Friday with a few breaks of sunshine.
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday we will have an area of low pressure spinning just to our north. This will cause a couple of waves of light rain showers and sprinkles. It will also help to spin down some chilly temps and mostly cloudy skies. Saturday we will have a high of 59, Sunday 57, and then a high of 60 on Monday. Winds will be brisk, 10-20 mph out of the west and northwest. Morning low temperatures will be in the 40s, but wind chills could dip into the 30s during the mornings.
Temps slowly start warming up heading into the middle of next week with more sunshine trying to make a return. Tuesday we warm to 64 with partly cloudy skies. We may try to give 70 a run for its money sometime next week, but today will very likely be our final mid-80 day of the year. Have a good one!
