Over the past few days, Columbia Borough police investigated two burglaries of unlocked residences.
Columbia Borough Police Department in Lancaster County is asking residents to lock their homes to prevent burglaries.In less than a week, police have investigated two burglaries of unlocked homes.The public is reminded to lock all windows and doors to help prevent unauthorized people from entering their property.
Incidents occurred on the 100 block of S. Third Street and the 800 block of Bluntson Street.A third burglary occurred in West Hempfield Township on Malleable Road, just outside of Columbia.Anyone observing suspicious activity in their neighborhood is urged to call 911.If you have information on any of the burglary incidents, contact the Columbia Borough police at 717-684-7735.
