The path of totality of the 2045 total solar eclipse will cross California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.As well as those states, the path of totality in 2045 will also cross The Bahamas, the Turks and Caicos, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, and Brazil.Across Colorado on Aug.
The path of totality will stretch directly across Colorado from Grand Junction to the Colorado-Kansas border. Cities like Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, Aspen, Pueblo, Lamar and La Junta will be in the direct path of totality.After Monday, the next total solar eclipse won’t occur until 2026.The next one in 2027 will march across Spain and northern Africa, with totality lasting a long 6 1/2 minutes.
