SARA President, Colleen Makhubele has joined the MK Party.

SARA President, Colleen Makhubele joins former president and Mk leader, Jacob Zuma at a media briefing at the IEC’s National Results Centre in Midrand.South African Rainbow Alliance President, Colleen Makhubele has stepped down as party leader to join uMkhonto weSizwe Party.After her axing from COPE, Makhubele proceeded to form SARA, conceived as an alliance of smaller parties, including the National Freedom Party , African Amalgamated Restorative Movement and Independent Citizens Movement.

In a statement, she says the MK Party will steer South Africa into the future, bringing about constructive transformation and advancement in African society. Makhubele further adds that her immediate task as an MK member will be to rally members of society to entrust the future of South Africa and of Africans to the MK Party.

She joins the likes of former Economic Freedom Fighters Deputy President Floyd Shivambu and former EFF member Mzwanele Manyi who also left their respective parties to join the MK party.
