Social media footage from the scene showed very blustery conditions
A rescue operation was launched this evening after reports four people had got into difficulty in the sea on the North Coast.
It's believed HM Coastguard, the Air Ambulance, the PSNI and Northern Ireland Ambulance Service were all in attendance at Ramore Head and Whiterocks Beach area of Portrush, Co Antrim. Footage from the scene showed the Air Ambulance circling the headland whilst conditions in the area were said to be very blustery.
