The celebrated left back was officially announced by the club alongside Gaston Sirino, a free agent after leaving Mamelodi Sundowns.No doubt Bongani Sam is among the new Kaizer Chiefs signings after opting to leave Soweto giants Orlando Pirates in search of playing time. His move to Kaizer Chiefs was reportedly on the cards, as the club hopes to stabilise its defence as Nasreddine Nabi rebuilds the Glamour Boys.
The star recently turned a year older, a few days before his unveiling as a new Kaizer Chiefs player. He hosted a party attended by close friends, including former Orlando Pirates starThe star was celebrating his 27th birthday. Fans and fellow footballers were quick to flood his social media feeds with warm birthday wishes. However, Mzansi was more than puzzled to learn that the player was 26, according to Kaizer Chiefs.
He added, “Given his age, which is 26, he has amassed quite a bit of experience, having played for several teams in the Premiership since he started his top-flight career seven years ago. We do wish him well, and we know he will fit in as part of the Kaizer Chiefs Family.”
