Still, there were some educational opportunities for those who ventured out in the rain, including a Science North event set up at Boulevard Lake.People in Thunder Bay have been left out of Monday's solar eclipse, with clouds and rain getting in the way of the celestial event. But a few diehards, and some young skywaters did head out to try and see something.

"I'm really disappointed," 10-year-old Emmitt Roy said at the Science North tent at Boulevard on Monday. "First eclipse for me to see it's cloudy, like it's so annoying.
