The Clippers’ star has missed 12 consecutive games due to stiffness in his surgically repaired right knee
Kawhi Leonard was upgraded to questionable for tonight’s game against Detroit, signaling a possible return to the Clippers’ lineup.
Leonard played in the team’s first two games, coming off the bench in both. Afterward, he experienced stiffness in his surgically repaired right knee and has not played since Oct. 25, missing 12 consecutive games. Leonard tore his ACL in Game 4 of the Clippers’ second-round series against Utah in June 2021 and missed all of last season.
Paul George is also listed as questionable because of a left-hand contusion, while Luke Kennard is doubtful after suffering a right calf strain that could sideline him for a few games.
