Just over two years since her 14-year-old daughter was murdered when bullets tore into her home and hit her in the head, a mother is turning her pain into purpose and using it to help others.

“I knew I could die right there with her or I could live for her,” said Jackson. “And I choose to live.”Abe’bre’anna diedwhen police say someone fired shots into the family’s home. Police say a bullet struck her in the head as she was resting in bed. Family, friends, Jackson’s pastor Kellie Sullivan, and others all came out to the support group Jackson started on Sunday.“To be able to let it out and be open and honest about it,” said Jackson. “In a room full of people that feel exactly how you feel.”
