Rangers manager Philippe Clement believes his team's comeback win against Hearts should serve as a reference point for the mentality needed to win trophies at Ibrox. Despite cutting the point gap with rivals Celtic, Clement is not concerned about the deficit and wants his players to continue showing a never say die attitude.
Philippe Clement reckons he's not busy with thinking about Rangers ' point gap deficit to Celtic after late drama against Hearts .
And while Rangers managed to cut the gap between them and their rivals, who fired blanks against Hibs on Saturday, Clement claims he's got no business concerning himself being five adrift at this point. The 49-year-old wants his Ibrox contingent to continue showing a never say die attitude and that trophies are bound to come as a result.
"The good teams are the teams that never give up, not even the best team in the world win every game. Football isn't about that. But the teams who compete, who never give up, those are the teams that win trophies at the end of the season. That's our ambition, this is a good reference game for the next weeks and months to keep this mentality, not with 11 players but the full squad.
