A reported collision between one Clay County Fire Rescue unit and another vehicle has resulted in multiple injuries on Knight Boxx and Old Jennings Sunday afternoon.
Based on the crash report from the Florida Highway Patrol, a Clay County Ambulance was driving in a northerly direction on Knight Boxx Rd. with their lights and sirens on, while an SUV was headed in an easterly direction on Old Jennings Rd.
The impact of the collision caused the Clay County ambulance to veer off course and collide with a signal light pole located on the northeast corner of the intersection. As a result of the crash, several individuals, iincluding 3 firefighters from the rescue unit and one from the SUV, were injured and transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
