In a tweet published at 11.20am, Nottingham Travelwise - which provides provides live traffic and travel information - said: "Police incident on Middleton Boulevard A6514 southbound close to Crown Island. Lanes one and two currently blocked with only lane three of three open at present.
"Please allow extra time for your journey as there are delays on Western Boulevard back to Newland Close."
