More than 500 apartments will be built on the 1.3 acre site
New planning documents show the scale of new towers to be built in the Greengate area of Salford, on the border with Manchester. The latest plans have been released by developer Renaker.
READ MORE: Fascinating new photos show how new neighbourhood will transform a neglected corner of Manchester city centre “Historically, Greengate was a densely populated mix of housing with commercial and industrial buildings,” a statement submitted to Salford City Council on behalf of the developers said. “Many of these buildings have been demolished over time and few significant examples remain. These include the Collier Street Baths, the Eagle Inn, the Waterloo Public House and the Blueprint Studios.
