Police launched a manhunt for four people after they assaulted technicians who were deployed to restore power in the township before making away with toolboxes and equipment.
JOHANNESBURG - City Power has welcomed the arrests of two people linked to the attack of its technicians in Alexandra this week.
"We are hoping that the rest of those criminals who basically did this who stole our cables and our joints and even our toolboxes are arrested and brought to book, and taught a lesson that municipal workers government workers are not to be attacked, because they’re there to provide services to residence that need it."
