JOHANNESBURG - The Gauteng provincial government is not to blame for the City of Tshwane's financial struggles.Tshwane Mayor Randall Williams has blamed the city's financial difficulties on ANC officials misusing finances while the city was under administration.Maile was speaking to Prof JJ Tabane on Power To Truth.
"There's no R4-billion irregularity. That's why I've said to the mayor, I challenge you if there's something wrong that has been done by the administrators, by the way not me, we can act and we will act against these administrators. So that's the first thing," he said."Yes and I'm saying, I'm challenging the mayor to contradict me. Over and above that article which has been written which raises many other things, principles of accounting and all that.
"So the mayor is not honest and that's why I write a simple letter: mayor, I'm informed there are problems. Can you please explain if there are problems or not."
