The City of Johannesburg has thrown its support behind Johannesburg Roads Agency CEO Tshepo Mahanuke amid questions over his qualifications.
Joburg Transport MMC Funzi Ngobeni and Mayor Mpho Phalatse after cutting the ribbon during the unveiling of newly-refurbished buses at Metrobus Roodepoort depot.The City of Johannesburg says it will reverify the qualifications of the Johannesburg Roads Agency's CEO.Mayor Mpho Phalatse called for an investigation into the allegations.
His resumé reportedly states that he received an"undergraduate engineering degree from the Vaal University of Technology ", but he holds a diploma after completing an engineering technician course.
