Draft version of the Employment Land Community Improvement Plan is available for review
The city is inviting Sudburians to attend one of two virtual open houses to provide feedback on the draft Employment Land Community Improvement Plan .
The city’s ELCIP aims to support projects that “strengthen and diversify” the community’s industrial sectors through increased employment and investment. Eligible projects can receive significant tax increment-based grants to offset the increased taxes driven by higher property values at project completion.
The proposed ELCIP includes a Tax Increment Equivalent Grant available to support industrial development. Other details include:
