A serial traffic offender who racked up nearly R200 000 in outstanding warrants to earn a spot on the City of Cape Town’s Top 100 list has been arrested.
He was apprehended during an operation by the CoCT’s traffic service in Kuils River.
‘Officers chased and caught the suspect, who appeared in court and is currently in custody,’ he said.Drivers on the Top 100 list accumulated 9 430 outstanding warrants valued at R9 129 180 in July alone, according to CoCT.
