The new PoP will leverage the capabilities of Amazon Web Services (AWS) local data centers, enabling Cisco to deliver Webex solutions more efficiently.

According to Cisco, the PoP empowers organizations of all sizes to adopt immersive hybrid work models and provide exceptional customer service experiences. For Webex Calling, voice and video calling traffic will now reside within South Africa, resulting in enhanced call quality, reduced latency, and strengthened security resilience.
