Dark Knight Trilogy Nolan’s Batman trilogy with Christian Bale is one of the more critically acclaimed superhero franchises, . It all began with Batman Begins, where Murphy starred as the villain Scarecrow. Murphy’s Scarecrow uses a fear toxin to psychologically manipulate the citizens of Gotham and when the same concoction is used on him, Murphy gets to play up a terrifying version of Dr. Crane.
