Shoppers are going wild for Cider's loafers that are much cheaper than Doc Martens
Cider fans have gone wild for a pair of loafers, which many claim are identical to a pair of Doc Marten shoes. The online fashion retailer is known for its dupes of designer brands.
Cider is currently selling a pair of black loafers that look almost identical to Doc Martens Bex smooth leather Oxford shoes - but without the hefty price tag. The two pairs of shoes are similar in shape and colour, but differ when it comes to the cost, with Cider's offering going for £30, while the Doc Martens are £159.
Cider's shoes are made with PU leather while Doc Martens' are made with "tough smooth leather" - according to the product description. On the Cider website, many shoppers have given positive reviews for the loafers, praising them as a "great dupe". They added: "I am usually a UK 7 and got the UK 8- everyone is right you should probably size up BUT just go by the size guide first as it was spot on for me. I can’t comment on the comfort of them yet but the quality seems so nice, they even have some cushioning at back of shoe to help prevent your foot sliding out when walking. Also came packaged really well.
