Dairy is a liquid that adds moisture, fat, and color to whatever it is you’re baking. Of course, changing what’s being added to the recipe will affect the finished product, but you can try to minimize those changes. The goal is to match the consistency of the liquid you’re replacing so if creaminess is key, try looking for barista blend or coffee creamer alternatives.
