Ambitious plans to transform a church building that closed 10 years ago into a digital media hub have been submitted

to Rossendale Borough Council.

The plans are currently out for consultation and Simon said he hoped it would be before a planning committee in about three months’ time so work can begin as soon as possible. “The first thing we will do is, to move in. Then we hope to create the first pod within three months, move a business in and then create the second one. We have had a lot of interest from businesses wanting to use the building and we will be encouraging people to spend their money in the town.
