A Christian high school dropped out of a state championship basketball tournament due to a transgender player on the opposing team, saying it would be unfair and unsafe.

Former University of Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines on her experience competing against transgender swimmer Lia Thomas.forfeited to the opposing team in a state championship tournament after it was revealed a transgender student was on the team's roster.

"We withdrew from the tournament because we believe playing against an opponent with a biological male jeopardizes the fairness of the game and the safety of our players. Allowing biological males to participate in women’s sports sets a bad precedent for the future of women’s sports in general," Fogg wrote in a statement to Fox News Digital.
