is one of the more exciting restomods cooked up in recent years and after many years of development, Chris Harris has had the opportunity to see what it is all about.as he was involved in its development.
The highlight of the Singer DLS is of course the powertrain. The engine is a naturally-aspirated 4.0-liter six-cylinder with four valves per cylinder that was designed with help from the legendary Hans Mezger. Not only does this engine sound absolutely extraordinary as it revs through to the 9,300 rpm redline but it pumps out 500 hp, roughly on par with the 992-generation Porsche 911 GT3.
