Presidential hopeful Chris Christie said that he believes a Washington, D.C. jury will give former President Donald Trump a fair trial.
Christie appeared on CNN's State of the Union Sunday to share his insight as a former United States Attorney in New Jersey. Christie said that he believes"jurors can be fair."
"I believe in the American people," said Christie."And I believe in the fact that jurors will listen fairly and comparably." "And for people who say [jurors] won’t, Dana, those are people who believe only in themselves, like Donald Trump, and not the American people," Christie went on to say.
