Anti-gender-based violence ( GBV ) activists are calling out South Africans – particularly those who supported Chris Brown – who have strongly reacted to a viral video of Sbusiso Lawrence Ntaka. The US singer – who has a long history of domestic violence and anger issues – wrapped up his South African tour over the weekend. Just days later, KwaZulu-Natal man Sbusiso killed his girlfriend Nontobeko Cele in a jealous rage, posting images and videos of it on his Facebook account.

He later committed suicide, reported authorities.On social media, the tragedy of Sbusiso Lawrence Ntaka’s senseless murder of his girlfriend, Nontobeko Cele, and his subsequent suicide was a hot topic.However, a number of X users, including anti-GBV activists, have called out those who just days ago supported and defended Chris Brown’s South African concert. His two performances over the weekend at FNB Stadium came just days after the country wrapped up its 16 Days of Activism campaign.
