Chippa line up big signings as ex-Downs and Pirates stars linked

Chippa released 16 players last week, including Luvuyo Memela, Roscoe Pieterson, Siyabonga Nhlapo and Menzi Ndwandwe.Long-serving midfielder Andile Mbenyane is reported to have retired from playing football and is set for a new role at the Chilli Boys, whilst Goodman Mosele has returned to Orlando Pirates after his loan deal expired.
According to a source close to proceedings at Chippa, the club is set to keep both Kwanele Kopo and Thabo September as co-coaches for next season.
