Baroka and Chippa United played to a lively 2-2 DStv Premiership draw at a rainy Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Both teams will rue the fact that they didn’t win this match as Chippa are not yet safe from being dragged into the promotion and relegation play-offs during their remaining two matches.
In their remaining matches, Chippa will be looking to ensure safety against Swallows and TS Galaxy while Baroka will have to beat SuperSport United and Maritzburg United to have any chance of surviving. Chippa United’s lead did not last long as Baroka, who remain winless away this season, pulled one back through a stunning solo effort by substitute attacker Dan Ndhlovu.Ndhlovu got the much needed equaliser with a close range toe poke that slipped past goalkeeper Loydt Kazapua after he dribbled past Veluyeke Zulu after 75 minutes.
