Some in South Korea are accusing China of cultural appropriation after it featured the Korean hanbok costume in the Olympic opening ceremony in Beijing last week

A woman wearing what appeared to be a Korean hanbok dress was among those representing China's different ethnic groups during the ceremony.that various aspects of Korean culture are of Chinese origin.In apparent solidarity with the complaints, the top U.S. diplomat in Seoul donned Korean hanbok clothing while touring a historic palace and shared photos on social media on Tuesday with the hashtag #OriginalHanbokFromKorea.
