When his home is threatened by evil forces, he'll need to embark on a quest to embrace his destiny and grow into the great ruler and hero that he is fated to become.
The legend of Gesar is one of Central Asia's most famous legends. It has been passed down for over a thousand years through oral tradition, poetry, stage plays, and literature. Although there are many different iterations, the Tibetan version has become the most well-known, and it is one of the longest stories. Warrior King will debut exclusively in theaters on August 25.

Rejuvenated by the spirit's power, Gesar leaps from the water and faces down the demon that had seemingly defeated him. Gesar quickly bests his opponent and fully steps into his role as Gesar, the man fated to save the world. Warrior King brings this beloved tale to life in dynamic animation.
Warrior King is directed by Lu Qi from a script written by Lu Wunan and Wang Yusheng. The English cast of Warrior King stars Brandon Hunt, Olivia Springer, Marisa Blake, Blake Talley, Richard Epcar, Ron Whittemore, and Katie Leigh. Warrior King has a runtime of 114 minutes and is rated PG-13.
