China has broadened its visa exemption list to include 38 nations, allowing passport holders to enter the country without visas. Notably absent from the list is South Africa, despite its membership in the BRICS group. The new exemptions, effective November 30th, will last until the end of 2025 and encompass countries like Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, and Japan.

Passport holders from these countries will be able to take advantage of visa-exempt entry until the end of 2025.Furthermore, these new visa exemptions come into place on 30 November.
