Forest fire in coastal tourist city of Vina del Mar in Chile leaves at least two people dead and destroys some 200 homes, officials say

"We lost everything — documents, our vehicle," resident Oscar Gonzalez said, adding that what hurt most was the loss of his dogs. Manuel Monsalve, an assistant to the interior minister, said better weather should help firefighters to control the blaze by the end of Friday.'Everything is burnt'As of Friday afternoon, they said two people had died — an 85-year-old woman and a man of 62.Vina del Mar Mayor Macarena Ripamonti said the number of homes lost in the region, some 120 kilometres from Santiago, was probably much higher.
