Since the summer started, children at Dreams Unlimited Childcare Centre have been biking and tracking how many kilometres they travelled before school started. The goal? To see how far they could have made it across Canada in the same amount of time.
- Kristin GardinerSUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — About 15 children at Dreams Unlimited Childcare Centre in Summerside have spent their summer break seeing how far they could cycle"across Canada" before returning to school.
As of Thursday, Aug. 11, the children at Dreams Unlimited Childcare Centre have cycled more than 4,000 kilometres. If they were biking across Canada, they would have touched down in Chaplin, Saskatchewan. - ContributedAlthough they may not actually be journeying across the country, the children still had fun on their adventures.
In particular, her favourite spot she travelled with the group was “probably Sunny’s ,” where she got a vanilla-chocolate swirl ice-cream cone.
