Four conservation officers and officers from the RCMP detachment responded but were unable to locate the animal. “We cannot stress enough the importance of not feeding dangerous wildlife and will take enforcement action as warranted,” the BCCOS said.This is the second coyote attack on a child in Metro Vancouver in the past week.
Last Wednesday BCCOS officers tracked and killed a coyote that had attacked a two-year-old child in Lions Park, Port Coquitlam at around 8 p.m.
