A major road is closed after the crash between a police car and a Dacia
Childwall Valley Road is currently closed after a crash between a marked police car and a Dacia car at the junction with Chislehurst Avenue. The police car had its blue lights on at the time of the crash which was reported at 3.50pm on Saturday, October 23.
One witness described hearing the sound of a girl screaming at the time of the crash. A man, woman and a girl who were travelling in the Dacia have been taken to hospital as well as the driver of the police car. The nature of any injuries has not been confirmed. Photos taken at the scene show the extent of damage caused to the Dacia and an air bag which has gone off inside. "The police vehicle was on blue lights at the time of the collision.
