Striker Ashley du Preez has opened up on Kaizer Chiefs' challenges in front of goal and revealed that he is working hard on improving his finishing ability this season.
Chiefs were knocked out of the MTN8 by Mamelodi Sundowns at the semi-final stage on Saturday thanks to goals from Peter Shalulile while Du Preez pulled one back from the penalty spot.Amakhosi have somewhat struggled in front of goal this season, scoring just four times in their last five matches across all competitions. Although Du Preez is the club's current leading goal-scorer with five goals to his name, the 26-year-old knows his tally could be higher.
"Like I said at the end of last season, I want to improve my game," Du Preez told the club's website. "I don’t want to repeat the chances I missed. I have had a really good start to this season, but for a player like me who works so hard, when I get a chance I must be totally focused on improving my finishing.
