Three Kaizer Chiefs players are at risk of missing the Soweto Derby if they get booked this weekend against Baroka FC in the DStv Premiership. Amakhosi have been having a difficult start to 2022 and know that they cannot afford to be without some of their players for the derby, set to be played at Orlando Stadium on March 6. As they prepare to go into the Premiership clash against Baroka FC at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday, Khama Billiat, Samir Nurkovic and Phathutshedzo Nange are all sitting on three yellow cards.
Baxter could look at the possibility of resting the three players for the clash against Baroka, but looking at how things have been going for Amakhosi, chances are he could risk playing them and hope that they do not get themselves booked.
