Kaizer Chiefs are set to hear the verdict by the SAFA arbitration which could act as a season-defining ruling in the Soweto giants' title aspirations. Read more here ➡️
Kaizer Chiefs' title aspirations are set to be decided with the pending decision handed down by the SAFA arbitration regarding the club's two unfulfilled fixtures.
In simple terms, the purpose of the arbitration before Advocate Nazeer Cassim SC will determine whether Chiefs are sanctioned or whether the club will be allowed to play those two games, which now carry the value of determining their interests in the DStv Premiership title race. With those 12 points at stake, Chiefs can cut Sundowns’ lead to just four and provide for an interesting conclusion to the season with the title and both the Champions League and Confederation Cup places to play for.
The matter has been hanging since February when its first seating was held with the PSL having been initially silent on the matter in the days after Chiefs choose not to pitch up for their games.
