On Sunday, Chiefs announced that they would name their new head coach and his technical staff soon, without specifying a timeline of when that will happen. Nabi has been linked with Chiefs since before the 2023/24 season and was hotly tipped to takeover at Naturena after leaving Young Africans , before talks broke down between the Tunisian and the Soweto giants.
In his only season at AS FAR, Nabi was pipped to the Botola Pro 1 league title by Zinnbauer's Invincible Raja Casablanca side, finishing second and fell short at the Throne Cup final, walking away with a silver medal.
