Pirates have axed all their captains from last season.
Happy Jele and Bernard Parker were captains at Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs but have since left the Soweto clubs
But all three are no longer with Amakhosi. This leaves Arthur Zwane with the task of finding a new man to lead the team on the field. Pirates have also axed all their captains from last season. The Buccaneers had Happy Jele, Thulani Hlatshwayo and Ntsikelelo Nyauza as captains last season. Innocent Maela captained Thanda Royal Zulu before and could be a solid candidate and so does goalkeeper Richard Ofori.
