A 26-year-old Chicago woman is charged in a string of bat attacks across Albany Park and Irving Park this week.

The attacks began Sunday afternoon, according to Chicago police, when Solorzano allegedly confronted a 33-year-old woman in the 4200 block of North Richmond Street around 3 p.m. Police said she exited her white vehicle and began to batter the victim with a bat before fleeing the scene. Just before 11:30 a.m., she confronted and struck two women with a bat in the 4500 block of North Mozart Street, according to police. This attack was followed minutes later by another attack in the 4100 block of North Campbell, when Solorzano approached a 45-year-old woman who was walking with her young child.
